**SPECIAL FEATURE, replacing my previous Barack Obama message**
OBAMANATION
o

Most of the women I know are not political at all; or, if they are political,
they base their votes not on the knowledge of issues but on a
candidate's appearance and how he says things.
O
My approach is exactly the opposite.  I am more concerned with what a candidate says than how he looks.  I am more interested in what a candidate has done in the past as an indocator of how he will serve us in the future.  Of course, I know that a candidate who does not "appeal" cosmetically to the electorate will not win, but that has never dissuaded me from voting for him or her.  And I will not be swayed by promises if those promises sound hollow or insincere to me.

I was raised as a liberal Democrat.  My parents were both union members and union supporters.  Over time, however, I have come to realize that most Democrats believe in a large Statist feeding trough from which to give money for things the Government has no right giving money away for; and "liberals," by and large, are heavily Classist and love to "label" people (what we used to call "typecast") depending on their race, class, or gender affection.  This is revulsive to me.  On the other hand, Republicans often (but not always, there's the problem) favor big business over the needs and concerns of employees, but they do - or, at least, are supposed to - favor small government and the freedom of the individual.

Please remember, Lincoln freed the slaves while the Democrats objected; Teddy Roosevelt busted up monopolies and worked hard for the working class; Reagan gave us tax cuts and incentives for small businesses to develop and grow.  But then Papa Bush came to power and reversed a lot of Reagan's advances; Bill Clinton, a Democrat, reversed that trend and balanced the Federal budget; then Bush Junior came along, increased the tax cuts but also started a needless, money-draining war and took away many of our personal freedoms.  So I have come to mistrust both "parties," and just vote for the individual rather than the affiliation.

I am a fiscal conservative but a social liberal.  I suppose that my politics lean more, then, towards Libertarian.  I would gladly vote for Libertarian candidates if I felt that they had a real chance of getting elected but, except for Alaska, this doesn't seem to be the case.  I also believe that our last great President was Ronald Reagan; click here to read my tribute to him.

And now - for the first time since Reagan! - I have found a candidate who represents ME. I have found a candidate who represents the will of the common working people, and guess what?? The liberals HATE her! And guess what else?? The more they hate her, the more power they give her!! WOW!! A woman so powerful she can't be destroyed!
Here is my tribute to Governor Sarah Palin.
